TTT Companion Book Now Available!

There’s a bit of a behind the scenes part of the book that goes a little bit into the making of this, our first ever horror tarot, along with the thought process of what went into making a number of the cards.

The companion book has been revised to coincide with the re-release of the Twisted Tarot Tales in 2024. In this particular release, there are a total of about 40 bonus cards. Since the deck was well known for having a huge number of bonus cards over the years, we felt it was important to include some of our best bonus cards with the new release. I’ve done my best to reflect this in the book, giving a brief overview / history of the bonus cards over the years.

As always, we ask that you DO NOT purchase this book if you are sensitive to cartoon gore or gruesome cartoon depictions of death. The Twisted Tarot Tales is a gory deck, filled with macabre ideas, dark humor, and scenes of a graphic nature.

Don’t get me wrong, our later editions to the deck, via some of the bonus packs, are a bit more lighthearted, but the main deck itself is quite dark.

When we first created Twisted Tarot Tales over 10 years ago there weren’t too many horror tarot decks around (at least that we’re aware of). Things have probably changed over time but I like to think our deck paved the way to making it more acceptable (God knows we got a lot of crap for it lol) to have horror related decks of cards in circulation.

The revised Twisted Tarot Tales companion book is finally complete. Originally reworked in May and June of this year (2025), the book has gone through a few a number of proof reads and a number of samples over the past few months, to where I feel it is ready to be released.

It is based on the original 2016 printing of the companion book, but with more updated commentary, some never before seen artworks and ideas.

It’s the perfect companion to our horror comic tarot and I think if you own the deck and like it, you’ll probably like the book too.

Included in the deck is the unfinished Twisted Tarot Tales “map” which was an abandoned project, but one that I thought may have been a great addition to the deck.

Also included is a brief card meaning section of every card in the main 78 card deck, along with amazing Twisted Tarot spreads by famed Tarot author Janet Boyer.

I think you’ll find the book not only informative but entertaining.

Also included is the entire list of every single card we’ve ever printed for this deck, which acts as a guide to the amount of cards this horror deck really had at one point (if you included all the bonus packs and rare releases)

Committing private thoughts to paper is always a very sobering task. It is possible to symbolically hang one’s self with their words and ideas, especially in the era we live now.

My hope is that if you are open minded enough to give Twisted Tarot Tales a try in the first place, you might be the kind of person that will not pass too much judgement on the contents of the book!

So if you’re looking for a Halloween / horror style book to flip through this spooky season, I think our Twisted Tarot Tales companion book may be of interest to you.
