Twisted Guide Book
Some of the new pages from the updated TTT Companion Guide, which is being updated in 2025
We've had a lot of requests to re-release the Twisted Tarot Tales guidebook, and over the past week or so, in the evenings when I get the time, I am working on it to bring it a bit more up to date.
I wanted to edit the book slightly because when I first released it in 2016, the line up for the cards differed from the current lineup today. The current printing of the deck (2024) has most of the same cards, but some of the old bonus cards have been shelved, and new ones have replaced them.
Going through the book, some of the cards featured are not included in the current deck and so it would be a bit irrelevant. So I want to avoid any confusion with the new printing of the book.
Most of the book will stay the same, but again I want to bring it up to date a little more. I have commercials in the 2016 version that are for products we don't sell anymore, for example.
This will be printed on a print on demand basis, and I plan on the book being released later in the year, possibly closer to Halloween, but again I don't have a specific date in mind. Iām just working at it in my spare time most evenings after the main project (All Hallows') gets worked on during the day.
When I finally get it finished I will make sure to inform everyone through the newsletter.
(edit) OK, so a quick update. I have finally finished the updates on the book and have sent away for proof copies to make sure it all checks out.

While every card is mentioned from the main deck in the book, I should mention that not every bonus card in this deck will have commentary. There are some cards, for example the Elvira Magician card or the Beetlejuice Fool card that were designed for the novelty, and so I really had nothing to say regarding them. Other cards hold specific nostalgic or emotional meanings for us, and so we go in depth a little more in those. With over forty bonus cards included in the recent printing (2024) it would be hard to cover every card, would put the production cost up considerably and so I wanted to create a book that would be entertaining, beautifully designed, and a little informative too.
If you already own the original printing, I am not sure if you would get much more out of the new printing. I am just being honest, but I will let you be the judge of that when I finally get the proof copies and do a quick flick through on Youtube.
That's all for now. Hope you're having a great day!
