Propaganda art is a special type of art in that its purpose is to direct the viewer towards a particular way of thinking. Propaganda art has been utilized since ancient times but was especially noticable to the past few generations through wars such as the Second World War, The Vietnam War, the Korean War and so on. Everyone from America, to Australia, Germany to Russia, have all used propaganda in times of war and China was no different.
Nowadays we're more likely to see propaganda in the international news and commercial products.
It is important to note that while our tarot is based on Chinese propaganda art, the art was not designed to convince the reader of a particular political belief but rather tell the story of Tarot through Chinese Propaganda art themed work.

THE CULTURAL REVOLUTION TAROT TECHNICOLOUR EDITION
A new edition to the 78 card Cultural Revolution Tarot, Christine Aguiar's personal "Technicolour" version is coloured by Christine herself. As the artist for this Tarot i like to think that Christine's Technicolour version stays truer to her original vision for this unique, much talked about deck of cards.
